13/365 Another tooth is gone!

I was starting to wonder if we would have to go to the dentist to get this out as it had been loose for a very long time, had moved over crowding the other tooth, and yet we couldn't manage to get it out. Okay, his jerking away and freaking was part of it. But Lucian knocked it out tonight while they were playing and despite much bleeding there was no drama, only happiness.

10/365 Shot Day

Flu shot, that is. G got the mist, but L has to get the shot. He was strong and brave and later when he pulled off the bandage he was so excited to see he had bled a heart!

9/365 Sander's Beach Park

I like to follow Pensacola with Kids because it often gives me ideas for fun and free things to do with the boys. PwK reminded me about this place, and showed me how it had been renovated, so even though the day was very cold and windy, we went.







We weren't the only ones who were cold.



We'll definitely be going back.

Bouncy fun after lunch at Cici's. The boys say thanks, Aunt Janel! They can't wait to do it again.

I love this. The plant does not loom large like that on the other side of Hwy 90, but on this crisp, cool, winter day my position and my zoom make magic.

5/365 Wet day

Wet day, but a good one. V and I got to spend time together, enjoying a lunch date and some leisurely shopping at Target. There were no great deals, but we did get G's birthday taken care of.

In unrelated news, ran to Crestview to see Lil in the hospital today (she got out that afternoon) and stopped by the used bookstore to grab myself something new, despite the very full "to read" shelf I have. I also got to see Amanda, as well as wish V's mom a happy birthday in person.

3/365 Back to the Grind

Winter Break is done, and this was the first day in over two weeks they were not awake before 6 am. That alarm was loud, and I admit to taking a bit of delight in waking them for a change.

2/365 A Sunday Morning Visit

Blair and her family were in the town so we went out for breakfast and then hit a park so kids could play and we could visit. Wish Atlanta was closer where we could do this more often!

1/365 Black-eyed Peas

None of those dry, nasty things for me. From our freezer, shelled by our hands back in June. Yum!
