In unrelated news, ran to Crestview to see Lil in the hospital today (she got out that afternoon) and stopped by the used bookstore to grab myself something new, despite the very full "to read" shelf I have. I also got to see Amanda, as well as wish V's mom a happy birthday in person.

My sister had some things to plant and asked the boys over to join her. G has been wanting that to happen, so he was extra happy about it. L lost interest after a bit and did his own thing.





We came home with the grossest looking home canned item ever, mullet.

324/365 Early Thanksgiving Meal

V's family came over and we had an early Thanksgiving meal together. It was nice, and the weather was perfect. After everyone was gone we went to the Riverwalk just to get out a bit.

My niece, that girl I carried around on my hip, turned 30! The wrong in that is huge.

My sister visited today, helped my mom do a bunch of stuff at her still unsold house, and she played some with the boys.

Not sure what movie they are enjoying, but L created this theater in the back yard and got Granny to watch with him.

242\365 Sick, Sad Monday

All appointments were made, V got the sleep he needed, and things were handled. At SIL's she was going through things. In the last few months Richard had been doing these as his ability to other things went away, and she had pulled the ones she was keeping out and the rest were going in the trash. She seemed guilty about it, saying over and over she didn't have room for them all, I kept telling her of course she didn't, don't worry about. My boys were going through them and asked about some for their bedroom wall. I told them to each pick one, yet this is what we came home with. I found I couldn't say no.

240/365 Worn Down

The rain just seems unending. I hate the heat but I need the sun. I'm a big bear when I don't have enough of it, and lately, definitely not enough.



Made a food delivery to SIL and MIL, ran other errands, and Vaughn got some house projects done. Heard from an old friend/former SIL about a surgery she's about to have.
